Today, The 10 Djiboutian women reached the their 18th day of their hunger strike in Brussels. They denounce Djiboutian Army rapes against Afar women. These war crimes continue since 1991 against Afar women. Those responsible for these crimes in the Army act in total impunity and benefit from the regime protection. Today, on the 12th Mai 2016, The European Parliament denounced firmly the rapes committed by the Djiboutian soldiers against civilians and reported by various NGO, and evidenced by the recent women hunger strike. They demand to the Djiboutian authority to conduct a thorough investigation on the Army actions, in particular, and to end impunity; invite The United Nations to conduct an inquiry on humans rights situation in Djibouti, particularly, women plight in the country; express its deep solidarity with the hunger strikers women in Paris and Brussels They shout: No to impunity #stopImpunity #stopvioldjibouti ( Stoprapesindjibouti in French) Supported by Femmes Solidaires and COFEDVI
